Because of our harsh climate many homes require wood replacement or repair before painting can begin. To prevent future rotten wood we use cedar, smart trim(which resists decay), or PVC (which can never rot!) to replace what often is pine or other soft wood that has rotted. When replacing battens or trim we prime all sides before installing new cedar to further protect the repair from absorbing moisture. We then properly caulk with a high quality siliconized acrylic caulk, then paint with a top quality acrylic paint. We can repair and replace windows and doors from Shelter Windows, Pella Windows, Anderson Windows, and other brands of windows. We can also repair the sash or replace the sash of most windows. |
